PDFtoMDConverter is designed to keep document conversion on your device.
PDF and Markdown content
Your selected PDF is read in browser memory. Its contents, file name, page images, content hash, and generated Markdown are not sent to our application servers for conversion.
Scanned-page resources
When a scanned page needs text recognition, your browser may download the software and language resources required to read it. This resource download is separate from your PDF and does not include the document’s contents.
Storage
The current converter does not create an account or save a document workspace. Closing or refreshing the page can clear your selected file, conversion result, and unsaved edits.
Analytics and tracking
The converter does not use product analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, analytics must not collect PDF contents, file names, generated Markdown, page screenshots, or content hashes, and this page will be updated before collection begins.
Your choices
You can stop a conversion at any time with the Cancel button, close the tab, or clear the result by starting a new conversion.
